George A. from Pogedaieff is born on January 13, 1897.
He takes the class at the Fine Arts School of Moscow and is a pupil of Zouglinsky.
As a painter, Pogedaieff, makes portraits of numerous and various famous people, both Russian and French.
Pogedaieff is lead to an international carrer and exhibits and different countries Russia in Moscow, France in Paris, Germany in Berlin, and Austria in Wien... for instance.
In 1918, George A. de Pogedaieff begins to work as a designer at the Petrograd Theatre, and majes a project for the Ballet "The Red Masks" by Nikolai Cherepine in 1818 and 1819.
George A. de Pogedaieff works together with Goleizovsky and they create the scenario for a Ballet under the name of "Gameleon or revolution is to win".
Later, in 1921, Pogedaieff makes a stage design for Hamlet in Wien and in 1922, he sets his mind to the Cabaret Blaue Vogel de Lascha Louchny in Berlin.
In the 50ies, he works for the "Chauve-Souris" (The Bat) in Paris and draws design for the "Crocodile" and (Cleopatra et le grand guignol" (Cleopatra and the big clown).
Pogedaieff also draws for litterature : he makes illustrations for Russian books such as the ones from Gogol, Dostoievsky and Tchekoff.
