Italian painter born in Rome in 1856.He studied with Guglielmo de Sanctis. He made historical scenes, landscapes and seascapes. Then he liked to paint tipical scenes from Southern Italy. He made exhibitions in Paris, Quebec and in Chicago. In this last city he obtained a golden medal in 1892. At the end of his life, he also made religious scenes.
