Born in 1952
Yves Le Guellec is a self-teaching person who has since ages been attracted to frawing and painting.
Yves Le Guellec gained insurance doing what he does (or rather makes) through museums visits, exhibitions, monuments, books viewing...
He truly began his path in the artistic world in the 1980, while he was regularly going to Barcelona, important place for contemporary art.
At that time, he organizes exhibitions, both in Spain and in France, and he also takes part in them as an Artist.
1989, year when the French revolution's bicenenary's anniversary was celebrated was a special year to him.
As a matter of fact, he could you the topic of Revolution to show his many talents. This year let him have various exhibitions, one at the Taller de Picasso in Barcelona, but it also let Yves paint a huge fresco in Hautes-Pyrenes about French Revolution, and meanwhile, Yves Le guellec also showed his artworks at his new Auch Gallery.
Yves made other huge projects and paintings... his works did even already take part in an auction putting an end to an exhibition in three places: Paris, Barcelona and Auch, exhibition in which 66 more painters from around the world took part in.
Yves Le Guellec also opened the "Centre d'Art Contemporain du Vieux Castéra", the Contemporary Art Center of ancient Castera, in Gers, breaking new ground for culture and European art.
Since 2002, Yves Le Guellec is settled in Lot-et-Garonne. His new studio allows people to see Yves' works.
