I loved my first visit to Georgia’s studio. Situated at the bottom of her garden, housed in a lovely old outbuilding, with a wood burner glowing in the corner, dogs curled up asleep in old armchairs, and with the precious objects and lengths of textiles that inspire her scattered around.

Her work is full of a love of life, colour and nature, it is flamboyant, fun and full of character. The subject matter may seem decorative, but the way that Georgia applies her paint, and hones her palette, reveals knowledge of her craft and talent. She has made the study of wildlife totally her own… given it her own twist. Georgia makes it look easy, but it’s not!

Georgia studied Fine Art and Illustration at Boston University and University of the West of England. She has been painting professionally for 20 years; combining a love of animals, flowers, interiors and textiles into her colourful, whimsical paintings.
